Service Introduction

Mandated by Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), the PVoC program requires all regulated imported goods to be accompanied by a valid Certificate of Conformity (CoC). The CoC certificate verifies that products comply with Kenyan technical standards and is a mandatory document for customs clearance.

Kenya PVoC Application Process

Step 1	Submit IDF (Import Declaration Form), proforma invoice and fully completed RFC application form, together with quality documents such as test reports, technical specifications and quality system certificates.
Step 2	Confirm the applicable assessment scheme and relevant Kenya standards.
Step 3	Arrange laboratory testing by authorized institutions if required.
Step 4	Conduct on-site pre-shipment inspection; all inspection fees shall be borne by the applicant.
Step 5	Submit final documents including commercial invoice and packing list after inspection approval.
Step 6	Issue the official CoC customs clearance certificate.
