Kazakhstan KNB Notification CIS National Certification

The import and export of most encrypted goods within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are carried out based on the KNB Notification. The KNB Notification is a document issued by the manufacturer to declare the technical and cryptographic features of the product, which is submitted and registered by the authorized authority.

The registration of KNB Notification is handled by the authorized cryptography authorities of EAEU member states. In Russia, it is the Federal Security Service (FSB); in Belarus, it is the KGB RB; and in Kazakhstan, it is the KNB RK.
