Belarus Metrology Certification CIS National Certification
Standards play a vital role in daily life, ensuring accurate data and fair measurement comparison. Measuring instruments are widely demanded worldwide, with high safety and precise data as core requirements for qualified products.
Similar to customs clearance certifications for other countries, goods exported to Belarus require local mandatory certification, namely GOST-B (STB Certification). It is issued by authorized bodies accredited by the Belarusian State Committee for Standardization and Metrology.
Three Modes of Belarus GOST‑B (STB) Certification
Single-batch certification, 1-year certification and 5-year certification.
Process of Belarus Metrology Certification
Step 1: Fill in the application form and submit complete product documents;
Step 2: Formal review of application materials;
Step 3: Proceed after document approval. Supplementary documents shall be submitted if the review fails.
Arrange sample delivery or factory audit in accordance with the certification scheme:
- Sample testing: Send samples to designated laboratories for official inspection;
- Factory audit: Arrange professional experts to conduct on-site factory assessment with on-site coordination and translation services.
Step 4: Complete on-site factory review;
Step 5: Organize and sort relevant technical documents after sample testing or factory audit;
Step 6: Submit documents for secondary review. Upon approval, register products on the official metrology authority platform and issue the official certificate.
