TR EAEU 048/2019 establishes energy efficiency requirements for energy-using equipment to ensure energy conservation and resource efficiency within the EAEU. This regulation defines unified energy efficiency criteria for relevant products. We provide one-stop EAC certification services for manufacturers exporting to the Eurasian market.

· Household and office electrical equipment in standby and off mode

· Fluorescent lamps without integrated ballasts, high-pressure discharge lamps, ballasts and related lamp equipment

· Air conditioners and indoor fan units
Conformity Assessment Procedures for TR EAEU 048 Certification
Energy-consuming equipment shall be permitted for sale on the EAEU market only after complying with this regulation and other relevant technical regulations:
- TR CU 004/2011 Safety of Low-Voltage Equipment
- TR CU 020/2011 Electromagnetic Compatibility
- TR EAEU 037/2016 Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Compliance assessment shall be conducted in the form of EAC certification or EAC declaration. An EAC certificate may replace the declaration upon the manufacturer’s request.
Available Certification & Declaration Schemes
EAC Certificate: Scheme 1c & 3c for batch supply; Scheme 4c for single delivery.
EAC Declaration: Scheme 1d, 3d, 6d for batch supply; Scheme 2d & 4d for batch or single delivery.
Conformity verification shall be implemented only by authorized certification bodies registered in the EAEU unified registry. Product tests must be completed in accredited laboratories.
Declarations under Scheme 1d and 2d are issued based on the manufacturer’s own test evidence.
Declarations under Scheme 3d, 4d and 6d require both manufacturer’s documents and official laboratory test reports.
Required Supporting Documents
All supporting documents shall be prepared in Russian or the official language of EAEU member states, including:
· Operation manual (product application, power connection, technical parameters, production date)
· Product specifications
· Technical data sheets related to energy efficiency performance
· Energy efficiency grade marking
Energy efficiency grades for all covered equipment are specified in Appendix 2-19 of TR EAEU 048/2019.
