The Customs Union Technical Regulation TR CU 010/2011 on the safety of machinery and equipment sets out basic requirements throughout the product life cycle. Compliance with TR CU 010/2011 is a prerequisite for accessing the Russian and Eurasian markets. We provide professional EAC certification services for machinery manufacturers.

The requirements of TR CU 010/2011 are harmonized with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, but not fully equivalent. This regulation was adopted on October 18, 2011, and came into force on February 15, 2013.

On March 15, 2015, TR CU 010/2011 officially replaced national standards such as GOST and local Russian TR standards. It applies to the safety design and production of all types of machinery and equipment.

Products covered by TR CU 010/2011 may also need to comply with other Customs Union regulations, including TR CU 004/2011 (Low Voltage Equipment) and TR CU 020/2011 (Electromagnetic Compatibility).
