Light Industry Products EAC Certification | Customs Union Certification

EAC certification is mandatory for light industry products entering Russia and the Eurasian Union. Custom medical goods, children special protective products, textile packaging, souvenirs, sports goods and cosmetic props such as wigs are exempted.

Light industry EAC certification includes EAC Certificate and EAC Declaration.

Main Stages of EAC Certification

1. Submit EAC application in accordance with TR CU 017

2. Prepare complete documents

3. Select product samples for testing

4. Conduct product testing and factory audit in authorized labs (Scheme 1C)

5. Issue test reports

6. Complete certification review and approval

Three EAC Certification Schemes for Light Industry Goods

1C Scheme

Valid for up to 3 years. It requires product testing and on-site production audit with regular inspection.

2C Scheme

Similar to 1C, but replaces factory audit with management system certification.

3C Batch Scheme

Valid for up to 5 years. Only product testing is required, without production audit and supervision.
